ISDEHS 2006 "Palm" Award

ISDEHS is currently looking for sponsors to be able to offer a price for an outstanding interdisciplinary scientific contribution from an Arab scientist in the field of drylands ecology and human security.

It is intended that the primary motivation for submitting be the honor of winning the award itself. To maintain the high standard due such an honor, the number of prizes awarded will be determined based on the number and quality of submissions. The first-place prize, if awarded, will include a single complimentary full-symposium registration for ISDEHS 2007

Call for Submissions

Researchers from academia,
civil society organizations and governmental institutions are invited to submit abstracts to our  thematic sessions that deepen our understanding of the environmental concerns in drylands as well as reposition
the ongoing desertification
debate within the context of human security.
